ROAD HALF-KILL

LANHAM, Maryland – Police closed a portion of southbound Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County while searching for a man’s ear they say was bitten off and tossed from a car during an argument between friends Thursday morning. Shortly after 8 a.m., motorists began dialing 9-1-1 after spotting a man with blood on his shoulder running in and out of traffic near mile marker 121, police tell the Free Lance Star. Responding officers were able to locate the ear on the shoulder of the road a short time later. Police have charged Floyd Warren, 31 of New York City, with malicious wounding in connection to the incident
