Jersey City – Jargget Washington had tried to gnaw his own wrist off by trapped in a police holding cell, defecated in the back of a Jersey City police cruiser, and as a grand finale bit off and swallowed his own finger at the Hudson County jail.
Police said Washington, 29, of Jersey City accomplished all this while under the influence of PCP, or phencyclidine, a drug that can cause hallucinations and make users extremely violent. Washington first attracted police attention when he stripped naked in the middle of a busy intersection and started attacking cars with his bare hands, screaming unintelligibly. At one point, Washington allegedly jumped onto the hood and roof of a passing car and tried to pull the driver out.
