REALLY???? SHE DOES LOOK SOOOOO DANGEROUS!!

Six-year-old girl Salecia Johnson landed herself in the slammer recently after throwing a temper tantrum. Georgia police arrived at Creekside Elementary School where the kindergartener was accused of tearing items off the walls, throwing furniture and knocking down a bookshelf that “injured” the principal. When officials attempted to calm her, she “resisted,” so cops handcuffed and hauled her little booty downtown. (The police chief told the WMAZ local news that anyone transported to the station must be placed in cuffs while riding inside a cop car.) Salecia, pictured above, was charged with damage to property and simple assault and was suspended for the remainder of the school year.
School officials called the cops before contacting Salecia Johnson’s parents, so the child ended up in a holding cell for over an hour before her family even knew about it. Considering most kindergartners are just learning to read (and thus cannot possibly process law jargon that even I have difficulty with), I am super curious if the arresting officers used a SpongeBob Squarepants puppet to read and explain Miranda rights to her? In any case, when the girl’s family made it down to the police station to retrieve their little one, they claimed that Salecia was alone in a holding cell complaining about the tightness of her handcuffs. She has reportedly been so traumatized by the experience that she has nightmares in the middle of the night about the ordeal.
