High School Football Player Gets Penalized For Pointing To God

"Occasionally we come across a story like this and the injustice can only make you sit back, shake your head, and wonder what we are coming to. A extraordinary young man, Ronnie Hastie, who plays high school football in Spokane, Washington, always makes it a habit after scoring a touchdown to quickly kneel in the end zone and point to God – in an effort to give him the credit for the score and for his talent. In this particular game, after a 23 yard touchdown, he took 1-2 seconds to do what he’s always done traditional…quickly kneel and point to God.  But this time, the ref didn’t appreciate it and threw a penalty flag directly at his chest- docking the team 15 yards."
